Vision
"The founding fathers of the S.G.S. Sabha had a lofty vision for the then fledgling organization. They visualized that the Sabha should become a social and cultural platform for various sections of the Samyukta Gowda Saraswat community in the City, and thus provide a forum for members to communicate in Konkani language and help in developing the language as well. In short, the visionaries were sensitive to preservation of the Saraswat Cultural Heritage for our future generation."

• Education and Relief of the poor including medical aid
   
• The intellectual, physical, social, moral and cultural advancement of the united Gowda Saraswat community
   
• Promotion of any other objects of general utility but not involving the carrying on of any activity for profit except such as is incidental to these objects.
